Here is our current sketch for this month's challenge.  We hope that you have a chance to play along and challenge your card making style and of course share with us.

Month Four: Cute & Fun

Hello friends and WELCOME home to House of Cards!  This challenge idea was the brain child of co-owner Mynnette--she wanted to have a reason to practice different card making styles and so the purpose of this challenge is to encourage YOU to branch out and try different card making styles along with her and the fabulous DT we've got here!  We hope that you will learn a lot and that you will participate with us each week here and practice your card making talents.  :)

Not sure what we're looking for and want some clarification on what constitutes each style we feature here at HOC?  Help is at hand with our useful Definitions of Styles tab. 

Fun & Cute cards usually use an image that could be considered "childish" but in a good way.  Images that are funny or in an "illustration" type style also fall into this category.  These cards usually incorporate lots of embellishments and fun, bright colors, but don't have to.

Now, onto our October challenge!  This month we will be working with this wonderful sketch layout.  Feel free to rotate the sketch and/or use different shapes - as long as the original sketch comes through to us, it's all good!
