Month Three: Photo Inspiration + Any Style Goes!

Hello, friends!  A HUGE thank you to everyone who has participated in this third month of challenges here at House of Cards!  We've had such fun seeing all the amazing talent out there and can't wait to see you grow as card makers in all the variety of styles that there are out in the world of crafting!

As we have a 5th week in September we've got a photo inspiration for your crafting pleasure!

Here it is~

Since this is the 5th week,

ANY CARD MAKING STYLE GOES!

Not sure what we're looking for and want some clarification on what constitutes each style we feature here at HOC?  Help is at hand with our useful Definitions of Styles tab.  Each style is explained and there are also examples of cards using each style.  Please do check it out! 

There will be inspiration from all of our DTs throughout the week and we hope that you join in the fun here with us!

Please follow our HOUSE RULES when you participate in our challenges to make things fair for all participants and to help the DT out when commenting, etc.  Here they are:

• You must follow the weekly card style and theme in the project that you choose to link up.
• You may join in other challenges other than ours, but please keep it to a maximum of 10 (ours and 9 more).
• You must link up with the POST address, not your entire blog address.
• Please link back to our challenge in your entry post so that others know where to come to play along!
• Do not expect a comment if you have Word Verification turned on. We do our best to comment, but it takes quite a bit of time to figure out what in the world you're supposed to type when Word Verification is used. Please opt for comment moderation as a most wonderful alternative!

Now, onto our September challenge!  This month we will be working with this beautiful color inspiration.  Please use at least 3 of these colors to create with!  Stampin' Up! Colors would be pale plum, perfect plum, brocade blue or wisteria wonder, cameo coral or groovy guava or calypso coral, and basic gray. Feel free to use other colors from the inspiration photo as well. :)

Month Three: Shabby & Vintage

Hello friends and WELCOME home to House of Cards!  This challenge idea was the brain child of co-owner Mynnette--she wanted to have a reason to practice different card making styles and so the purpose of this challenge is to encourage YOU to branch out and try different card making styles along with her and the fabulous DT we've got here!  We hope that you will learn a lot and that you will participate with us each week here and practice your card making talents.  :)
