To create a card with Bokeh effect.
I wanted to have a video on how to create this effect, but my computer kept crashing. :(
This is why you'll see three cards from me this month. ;)
So...you get a written tutorial today and movies, tips, and more from other DT gals later this month!
Here's a "How To" if you've never done this before.~

Supplies needed for watercolor background version: Watercolor paper Desired ink colors/watercolors Watercolor pen White craft ink Circle stencil Dauber Permanent black ink (to stamp sentiment) |

Supplies needed for sponged background version~ Ink Blending tool Glimmer Mist (optional) White craft ink Circle stencil Dauber Permanent black ink (to stamp sentiment) |
- Create you background by either watercoloring or sponging your background. If you sponge/blend your background, consider then spritzing it with Glimmer Mist. Let it dry completely. You can also use a heat tool to shorten this step.
- Using your circle stencil, the white craft ink, and the dauber, sponge white circles onto your background in a random way. You can vary the intensity of the white ink to add more interest, too. Be careful to not smear the ink as you sponge. Let the ink dry completely.
- Stamp the sentiment onto your bokeh panel using permanent black ink. Add your panel to your card and embellish it as desired.
And check out the other DT members for more inspiration~
The DT cards will be showcased here throughout the month every Monday!
